Waves of Music (WoM)

is a camp (barrio) in GoingNowhere(.org) a European Burningman in Spain in a small desert in the region of Monegros, next to Zaragoza.

Waves of Music originates from Shanti, a community in the historic centre of Ghent, Belgium, that hosts the Shanti.Gent pianobar and the Yoga.Gent yogastudio in their building. People of our musical community and our yoga community, as well as beautiful souls from around the world, are welcome to participate in WoM.

In our camp, we will have a daily Ecstatic Dance, which after 22h can be continued with silent discosets as we limit the volume at night because we are in the yellow zone of the Burningman. On the daytime, our main Bedouina is transformed as a cosy Bedouin Camp chill-out space for all the burners, full of pillows, where from time to time our Mysterious Mistresses serve you a tea, in lingerie (or without lingerie). We host an open stage with a piano, mics and instruments for any act. If anybody wants to share something, give a lesson, do a performance or bring some music, our stage is open and you can write your event on the big agenda board in front of our Bedouina. Our camp also has a yoga and Shibari space.

We are aligned with the Here and Now barrio, a barrio originating of our beloved community in Spain, AmaraValley.com, heaven on earth. We are situated next to them and we look forward to meet all our friends on the desert this year as one big family.
